About Work Care of Alaska and Urgent Care Medical Clinic
Urgent Care Medical Clinic was started by Dr. Layne Crowe (left) shortly after moving to Alaska from Florida, where he was based with the Navy as a Flight Surgeon. He opened the first clinic, on Northern Lights and Boniface, in 1998. Eight years later, in 1996, he opened his second clinic on the other side of town, on Jewel Lake Rd and Dimond Blvd. Dr. Crowe has continued serving in the Navy Reserves as a flight surgeon and is going on an active duty deployment to Japan in February, 2018.
